On November 29, 2017, in the evening hours, Joseph P. Perri was last seen at a friend’s home on Midland Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Perri was staying with some friends and per detectives assigned to the case, Mr. Perri left the house in the late evening hours and never returned home. Mr. Perri did not take any of his personal belongings and had planned on returning home later that night. Mr. Perri did not respond to family or friends who had tried reaching him on his phone which was provided to him by his father. Mr. Perri is a male white, 28 years old at the time he was reported missing, 5’10”, 175lbs, brown eyes, and brown hair.

On Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 12:37AM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 2900 block of Indianola Ave. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found the decedent, a 25-year-old male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 13 responded and pronounced the victim deceased at 12:45AM.
After the shooting a male was seen running from the scene. The decedent was identified as Mr. Andrew Santiago.

On Friday October 19, 2018 at approximately 8:53 p.m. the Columbus Division of Police received a call and were requested to respond to 1881 Forest Village Ln. Initial information indicated that a person was shot. When patrol officers arrived two (2) adult males were discovered and both had been shot. One of the victims was pronounced at scene at 9:01pm by Columbus Fire Medic 32. The second victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition. At this initial stage of this investigation there are no known suspect(s) and several possible motives are being investigated.
