Today’s Midweek Special focuses on Wanted Suspect Andre Joseph Hodge.
On Sunday, June 21, 2020, at approximately 2:00pm, nine suspects (males and females) descended on the victims’ residence where they committed a violent armed robbery and assault. The victims, a husband and wife, both sustained injuries during the attack, while children inside watched in horror and called 911. The male victim was pistol whipped and the female victim was dragged off her porch by her hair and assaulted. Property was taken from the victims. Suspects also menaced a neighbor who, being alarmed by the commotion, came outside to investigate. Columbus Police have already arrested two of the nine suspects and are requesting the public’s help with locating a third suspect, currently a fugitive from justice. Columbus Division of Police issued multiple felony warrants for the arrest of Andre Joseph Hodge: Aggravated Robbery, Robbery, Aggravated Riot, Kidnapping, Felony Theft and Weapons under Disability (Prior Felony Conviction). The suspect is described as: Male/Black, 31 years old, 5’10”, 201lbs, black hair, brown eyes, with goatee/mustache. He is known to be violent and should be considered armed and dangerous.
