Thefts at Gas Pumps in Blendon Township

This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on Thefts at gas pumps which took place in Blendon Township.

On Tuesday, January 5, 2021, and Saturday, January 9, 2021, there were two separate purse thefts in Blendon Township. The suspect is known to sit in the parking lots of gas stations and wait for the victim to begin pumping gas. While the victim is distracted by pumping gas, the suspect pulls his truck up to the passenger side of their car, opens the door and takes their purses/wallets. The suspect is described as Male/White and drives a gray Ford F-150 with silver trim on the bottom. The suspect has been using the stolen credit cards at Kroger, gas stations, and Walmart. The suspect buys Newports and gift cards. Surveillance shots of the male suspect, the female accompanying him, and vehicle may be viewed on our website at www.stopcrime.org.
