Theft of Firearms in Worthington

On Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at approximately 2:30pm, a home in Worthington was burglarized and numerous firearms were taken. Neighbors reported seeing a male white, 5’7-5’10, 175-200lbs, with dark hair, driving a Red Toyota pickup truck (possibly a Tundra) with a black stripe on the sides. The burglarized home is adjacent to Walnut Grove cemetery. The firearms taken are listed below:

Luger BYF 1936 P08
Arisaka Type 99
Arisaka Type 38
Mosin Nagant M91130 1938
Mosin Nagant Carbine 1952
Mosin Nagant Tula 1944 Revolver
Also taken were Russian surplus ammunition 7.62x54R, 1 Samsung TV, 1 Sony Brava TV, and a Nikon Cool Pix digital camera. Photos of the types of firearms stolen may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by March 28, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
