Today’s Midweek Special focuses on a Theft which took place in Worthington.
On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 2:15pm, an older white female was in the Produce Department of a Kroger store located in Worthington, pretending to shop for groceries. She was wearing black pants, dark blue shirt, a black hat, glasses, a blue scarf, and a facemask. This female/suspect saw an elderly female looking through produce and not paying attention to her purse that was sitting in her cart. The suspect walked by and stole the victim’s wallet out of her purse. The suspect then placed the wallet in her own purse and walked out of the store with just her phone and purse. The stolen credit card was used at the Walmart located at 3900 Morse Road, by a possible second suspect. The second suspect is a white female, wearing a floral hat, glasses, blue shirt, and a light color long sleeve cardigan. Surveillance photos of the suspect(s) may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
