On January 30, 2012, at approximately 8:49pm, a female entered Andrews Jewelers located at 4049 The Strand East at Easton Town Center. Once inside, the female spoke to the clerk about investing in jewelry and asked to look at some diamonds. When the clerk walked away from the counter, the female grabbed two one-Karat diamonds valued at approximately $20,000 and fled out the front door. She then ran westbound from the store and entered the passenger side of a dark colored Chevrolet Bronco/Tahoe.
The suspect is described as: Female/White, late 20’s to early 30’s, 5’2” to 5’4”, 120lbs, brown straight medium length hair, wearing a white colored knit sweater and jeans with an overcoat.
Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by March 21, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
