Today’s Midweek Special focuses on an Assault which took place in Columbus.
On Saturday, October 17, 2020, at 12:15pm, the shooting suspect, along with two accomplices, approached the front desk of the Inglewood Court Apartments at 3720 Sullivant Avenue. The shooting suspect wanted to get their id’s back from the front desk employee. When the employee refused, the shooting suspect punched the bullet proof glass, continued yelling, then pulled out a black handgun and pointed the gun at the employee, firing one round through the speaker box surrounded by the bullet proof glass. The shooting suspect and accomplices left in a small white car. The employee called police. Both accomplices were identified and charged with felonious assault and tampering. We are hoping the public can help identify the shooting suspect. Surveillance video of the suspect may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
