Today’s Midweek Special focuses on a Stolen Identity case which took place in Dublin.
On Wednesday, October 23, 2019, an unidentified suspect used a Discover credit card that was fraudulently obtained by stealing the identity of a Dublin resident. The suspect was observed at a Speedway Gas Station on Stringtown Road in Grove City, using the victim’s card. The suspect made multiple purchases across central Ohio before the victim was notified by the bank that a new account had been opened using his information. This suspect is believed to be involved in other similar offenses where credit cards were opened in victims’ names. Surveillance photos of the suspect may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
