Series of Bank Robberies

Between September 10, 2013, and March of this year, there have been over a dozen bank and business robberies in the central Ohio area.

Beginning with the robbery of the West 11th Avenue Huntington Bank on Tuesday, September 10th, investigators believe that a lone gunman has planned and robbed over a dozen local financial institutions, as well as area pharmacies. In each robbery the suspect enters the business, displays a handgun, and demands money. No notes have been passed. Though actual threats of harm have been made to those he approaches, no one has been harmed as of yet.

Investigators are posting three photos of the suspect, who is described by victims as male/black, late 20’s, 5’8”-5’10”, medium build, dark complexion, short black hair, brown eyes, slight facial hair, and on several occasions wearing OSU logo clothing. No suspect vehicle has been reported. Security photos of the suspect may be viewed below.
