Murder of Dion Morris


On Monday, April 23, 2012, at approximately 9:00pm, 42-year old Dion Morris walked from his nearby residence to a corner store in the area of Wager and Beck streets. As he was walking, a silver colored automobile approached. For reasons unknown, occupants in the vehicle shot Dion Morris. Mr. Morris was transported to Grant Hospital where he died from his injuries. A photo of Dion Morris can be seen on the Crime Stoppers www.stopcrime.org website.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by December 19, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
