This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Robbery which took place in Columbus.
On Friday, September 4, 2020, at 3:39 pm, an unidentified male entered the Dollar General store located at 2012 Lockbourne Road, and walked up to the cashier and demanded cash. The suspect then reached into his pocket, pulling out what the cashier thought was a handgun. The cashier told him he could not open the register. The suspect walked out of the store without any cash. The suspect went to a second Dollar General store located at 1500 E. Livingston Avenue. The suspect waited in line until the cashier waited on him. The suspect demanded the money in the register. The cashier opened the register and handed the money to the suspect. The suspect walked out of the store and disappeared around the back of the store in the direction of Berkeley Road.
