Today’s Midweek Special focuses on a Robbery which took place in Columbus.
On Saturday, December 22, 2018, at approximately 11:25am, the victim met with a male in the parking lot of 1500 Lockbourne Road, to sell an Apple watch he listed on the site Letgo. The buyer/suspect initially attempted to short-change the victim by sixty dollars. The suspect then agreed to retrieve additional cash from inside the CVS at the location. The suspect and another male entered the store briefly and upon exiting, handed the victim cash. The victim began to count the money and was then punched in the face and shoved to the ground. The suspects took the cash and watch and fled on foot. The suspects were both described as male blacks, early twenties, wearing dark clothing with hoods. One suspect had a blue beanie/toboggan and white shoes; one appeared to be wearing tan boots. A surveillance photo of the suspects may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
