On Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at approximately 4:40am, an unidentified male broke into the “Lee Oriental Supermarket” located at 2848 N. High St. The suspect gained entry into the business by damaging and entering through an exhaust fan on the north wall of the warehouse section of the building. Once inside, the suspect was able to enter the grocery side of the business. Surveillance footage shows the suspect going through various drawers, the cash register, and various other areas while carrying a tool resembling a crow bar. The suspect was observed using his sweatshirt to cover his hands while touching things throughout the store. The suspect exited through a rear door, but not before stealing cash and coins. The suspect is described as: Male/White, 5’9”-5’11”, 25-35 years, thin build, mustache, short blondish-red hair, wearing a black hoodie style jacket and baggy gray sweat pants. He had a t-shirt around his face in an attempt to conceal his identity.
