This week’s “Crime of the Week” brings the spotlight on the 32nd anniversary of a Homicide which occurred in 1982. This specific crime has been featured before, but we still need your help in solving this homicide.
On Monday, September 20, 1982, 8-year old Kelly Ann Prosser was abducted as she walked home from Indianola Elementary School through the University District. She was last seen wearing a white and pink flowered top and blue jeans, and may have been wearing or carrying a blue raincoat. Two days after her disappearance, her lifeless body was discovered in a cornfield along A.W. Wilson Road in Madison County. Little Kelly had been beaten, sexually assaulted, and strangled.
