On Friday, July 7, 2017, at approximately 8:50am, Columbus Police Officers and Medics were dispatched to the area of 350 S. Wayne Avenue, on report of a body inside the trunk of a Dodge Neon. Officers arrived and found the victim, Jesse Houser, unresponsive, inside the trunk of said vehicle. The vehicle was parked in the rear of 346 S. Wayne Avenue. Mr. Houser was pronounced deceased by Columbus Fire Medic #17, at approximately 8:58am, and it was apparent that he was the victim of a homicide. It is believed the homicide happened sometime in the early morning hours of July 7, 2017. A photo of Jesse Houser may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
