This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Burglary that took place in Worthington, Ohio.
On Saturday, September 8, 2018, at 10:35pm, two suspects parked behind a commercial business on Huntley Road in Worthington and one suspect entered into a fenced lot. He stole a 2016 Ford F250 work truck and a Liberty trailer. The vehicle they arrived in appeared to be a white or silver 4-door, possibly early 2000’s Chevy Impala. Two hours later, at 12:52am, the suspects returned in a black boxy-style SUV and parked in the same place. Again, one suspect entered the gate and stole a 2017 Ford F350, loaded with generators, pumps, and other tools. The F250 was recovered on St. Jude Avenue in Columbus (near Eakin Rd) and was missing the trailer, catalytic converter, and all tools. The F350 was recovered on Thacker Ct (near N Hague Ave) and was missing the catalytic converter and all equipment and tools. The value of all items taken exceeds $200,000.
