Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a Robbery.
On Sunday, April 2, 2017, at 3:34pm, an unidentified male walked into the Huntington National Bank, located inside the Giant Eagle at 873 Refugee Road. The male passed a note to the clerk which read, “Hand me all the cash over or I will shoot you.” As the teller was complying, the suspect demanded the teller to hurry, and he put his left hand in his jacket pocket to imply the use of a weapon. The suspect then exited the store through the main entrance. Review of store surveillance video revealed another suspect, acting as a “look-out”, was involved. Suspect #2 went to the produce section, which provided a clear view of the main entrance and Suspect #1 in the banking area. Although the suspects did not exit the store together, both got into a newer model Buick Regal, waiting in the parking lot. Suspect #1 is described as: Male/Black, early 30’s, 5’8”-5’10”, 150-170lbs, rough facial features, wearing a multi-colored hat and large sunglasses. Suspect #2 is described as: Male/Black, late 20’s, dreadlocked hair which was pulled up.
