Today’s Midweek Special focuses on a Felonious Assault which took place in the OSU area of Columbus.
On Sunday, January 5, 2020, at approximately 2:30am, three victims were walking southbound on N. High Street near the Ohio Union South Parking Garage, when they were approached by five suspects who began yelling and assaulting them. After the assault, the suspects ran north to a parked vehicle at the McDonalds located at 1972 N. High Street. They then exited the area going northbound on N. High Street to westbound on W. Lane Avenue, driving a white Ford Fusion with a sunroof and no front plate. The suspects are described as:
- White male, 6’1″-6’2″, large frame, brown hair (longer than normal), wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with blue jean jacket and black jeans
- Average size Light skin black male (possibly mixed) wearing black jeans and a black Adidas hooded sweatshirt
- “Shorter” Hispanic male with a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
- White male wearing black jeans and black hooded Nike logo jacket
- White male wearing white pants and a brown hooded jacket
