This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on a Theft which took place in Dublin.
On Saturday, April 23, 2016, at approximately 11:00am, an unidentified female stole a wallet from the Wal-Mart store, located at 5000 Britton Parkway in Dublin. The victim had accidentally left her wallet in a shopping cart in the parking lot. Review of store cameras showed the suspect entering with a male child, approximately 9-11 years of age. She then went to a checkout point and removed a plastic shopping bag and placed the wallet inside to conceal it. Placing another shopping bag on top, she went throughout the store loading up the cart with merchandise. After the suspect finished shopping, she left the store with the child. The suspect is described as: Female/White, possibly of Hispanic decent or bi-racial, 40-55 years of age, heavy build, short dark hair, wearing a white/floral print top, black cardigan/jacket, blue capris, and brown sandals. The child is male white with short light hair, wearing a blue/white plaid hoodie and jeans. The suspect vehicle is a dark 4-door sedan.
