Breaking and Entering at Kmart on Brice Rd.

This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a Breaking and Entering which took place in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

On Saturday, October 19, 2013, at approximately 9:55pm, an unknown male entered the K-Mart store located at 1284 Brice Road. He walked to the men’s restroom and waited there until the store closed. After the store closed, the suspect crawled on his hands and knees, went to the jewelry counter, and filled a nylon bag with over $41,000 worth of 10k gold earrings. The suspect then proceeded to the cigarette display case where he broke open the case and stole several packs of cigarettes. The male was in the store for over two hours before taking a men’s 26″ Mongoose bicycle from the shelf and using it as his get-away. The male is described as: Male/Black, in his 30s, bald, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, and black tennis shoes. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
