On Saturday, June 8, 2013, at approximately 2:30pm, someone forced open the rear door of a residence on Ashmead Dr. The home was equipped with an alarm, which sounded after a set delay. Investigators believe that the alarm sound shortened the time the thieves spent in the residence. Neighbors reported that a small blue or black Chevy Cobalt automobile had been parked in front of the residence, and that a thin female white, approximately 23-25 years of age, 5’6” tall, had walked up to the front porch. A male white suspect stayed near the car, acting as though it had mechanical problems.
After the break in, the victim’s credit and debit cards were used at area businesses. Store security photos of the suspects may be viewed on our www.stopcrime.org website.
