This week’s “Crime of the Week” focuses on an Aggravated Robbery which took place in Columbus.
On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at 7:24pm, the suspect entered the Game Stop at 3955 W. Broad Street. The suspect walked around as several customers were in the store. After all the other customers left, the suspect walked up to the cash register and pulled out a handgun on the Asst Manager. The suspect demanded that the Asst Manager open the register and give him all the cash. He opened the register and apparently wasn’t moving fast enough, so the suspect struck him with the handgun on the back of the head. The suspect took the cash and fled the store.
The suspect was described as: Male/Black, 6’0, 150-160lbs, medium dreads, wearing a black skull cap, black mask, grey Adidas sweatshirt, and grey pants. The suspect was armed with a two toned black and green small framed semi-automatic handgun. Surveillance photos of the suspect may be viewed on our website, www.stopcrime.org.
