Robbery at Swifty Gas Station in Blendon Township

On Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 10:15am, a maroon minivan, driven by a heavy-set female black, pulled into the lot of the 5280 Westerville Rd. Swifty Gas Station. A male black exited the front passenger seat and went toward the side of the building where the restrooms are located. The suspect then yelled for the attendant, stating the restroom door was locked. Once the attendant was near the restroom, the suspect demanded cash from him and began physically beating the attendant. The attendant handed over the cash from the business and the male suspect ran on foot toward East Dublin-Granville Road. The female drive drove away in the same direction and picked up the male suspect in a gas station lot adjacent to Swifty. The male suspect is described as: male black, heavy-set, 18-30 years of age, 5’8″, neatly trimmed facial hair. The female suspect is described as: female black, heavy-set, medium complexion, 18-30 years of age, 5’2″-5’6″, wearing a pink jacket.
