Detective Todd Schiff is a member of the economic crime unit. Detective Schiff is a 15-year veteran of the Division and has an accounting degree. To date in 2012, Det. Schiff and the economic crime unit have sent over 75 cases for indictment to the Franklin County Grand Jury. The loss in these cases is over two million dollars. Detective Schiff has expert investigative experience in cases against the elderly. He has prosecuted several cases for the combined total loss of over $316,130.00. These cases involved the exploitation of elderly family members, construction fraud and other thefts of the aged, infirmed or handicapped. He is focused and determined to seek justice for the members of society that are often overlooked or mistreated because of the their age or disability.
