Theft at Worthington Mall

On Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at approximately 12:00pm, pickpockets targeted lunchtime customers in the Worthington Mall location of Panera Bread. Two women had their wallets removed from their purses. Credit cards from the stolen wallets were used to make purchases in the Polaris Mall area. The Andrews Jewelers at Polaris Mall, several AT&T stores along Polaris Parkway, a Target store and Polaris area banks were amongst the businesses identified. At least three suspects are involved. A male black and two female whites have been recorded on security videos using the credit cards. Suspects: 1) Female/White, Late 40’s, 5’7”, 165lbs, shoulder length brown hair, wearing silver hooped earrings, a gray button-up sweater, camouflage patterned gray and black blouse, light blue jeans, carrying a shoulder strapped purse. 2) Female/possibly Asian, 30’s, 5’6”, long dark hair, purple and black striped pull-over blouse, large black shoulder strapped handbag, black dress slacks, black dress shoes. 3) Male/Black, 40’s, dark complexion, close cut black hair, 5’9”, 200lbs, wearing a pink dress shirt under dark blue sports coat, light colored blue jeans, dark casual shoes.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by November 28, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
