Robbery of Elderly Woman

On Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 4:30pm, a male suspect violently shoved an eighty-year old woman while the woman shopped in a Gahanna Kroger store. The man reached into the victim’s purse and removed her wallet which contained her credit cards and personal documents. The suspect immediately went to an area Walgreens store and purchased Macy’s gift cards.

Two elderly women had their wallets stolen as they shopped in a Grove City Kroger store on Friday, October 12, 2012. Credit cards taken from the women were immediately used to purchase gift cards at CVS and Walgreens stores. On Wednesday, October 3, 2012, an eighty-one year old woman, shopping in the Dublin Kroger store, had her wallet stolen. Her credit cards were immediately used. The same type of thefts occurred in Upper Arlington and Blendon Township Kroger stores. The suspects are described as: 1) Male/Black, early 50’s, 5’10”, 180lbs, medium complexion, balding on top, glasses, neat, casual dress. Suspect 2) Female/Black, mid 40’s, 5’8”, heavy build, 180lbs, dark complexion, medium length black hair/wig, glasses, earrings, neat, casual dress.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by November 14, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
