Detective Scott Davis of the Dublin Division of Police has been serving the residents of Dublin for 27 years. For 24 of those years he has been assigned to the Detective Bureau. He is very diligent in his work and is the“go to” investigator in his unit. Detective Davis earlier this year was the lead detective in a homicide committed in the city of Dublin that involved several other jurisdictions. He is also considered a specialist regarding economic crime and has handled countless of cases while in that capacity. He also is very active in teaching and speaking to students within the Dublin School District . He recently was presented with the Dublin Police Award of Merit and the Chief’s Award of Excellence.
