On August 28, 2012, at 5:30pm, a robbery occurred at the Payless Shoe Store located at 4214 E. Main Street. The suspect is described as a male/black in his 40s, 5’8″-5’10″, 180lbs, medium build, shaved head, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, white gym shoes, and blue baseball hat. The suspect displayed what was believed to be a handgun in his waistband. The suspect was last seen fleeing in a gray Nissan Altima, possibly 2005 model with factory rims and factory windows. Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by October 4, 2012, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
