Westerville Robbery

In conjunction with the Westerville Police Dept., Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is releasing information concerning a Breaking & Entering and Theft that occurred at a business in Westerville.

On Tuesday June 3, 2008, just before 4 am, a man broke the window of an office building on Shrock Rd. with a large piece of concrete. The business was an eye doctor’s office and the thief was able to steal dozens of pairs of designer sunglasses and regular frames. The concrete used to smash the window came from a construction site behind the Old Big Bear on Shrock Rd. The suspect was captured on surveillance video.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, approximately 5’10” tall and weighing somewhere in the vicinity of 160 lbs. At the time of the burglary, the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a long sleeved t-shirt and a baseball cap.
