This week’s “Crime of the Week” concerns a Breaking and Entering in Grove City. On Sunday, December 27, 2009, at approximately 3:15am, two unidentified people broke into Star Cinema located on Stringtown Road in Grove City. They gained entry through one of the back theater doors and cut the cable lines to the building; therefore, the alarm did not work. Both suspects were carrying black and yellow crow bars with them throughout the incident. The suspects gained entry to the office and took cash from the closet area. Detectives believe these suspects are also responsible for the January 4, 2010, break-in of the Elks Lodge located on Sonora Drive in Grove City.
Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by February 3, 2010, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
