Central Ohio Crime Stoppers’ “To Catch a Killer” initiative for this month concerns the 2003 Homicide of Greg Price. On Friday, December 12, 2003, at approximately 5:00am, a passing motorist observed Greg Price slumped in the driver seat of his 1996 Dodge Dakota pick-up truck. The truck was parked on the berm of the eastbound lane of Alkire Road at the intersection of Winding Hollow and Alkire Road. Columbus police responded to the scene and found Greg Price unconscious in the truck suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Columbus Fire Medics were called to the scene and Mr. Price was transported to Mt. Carmel West Hospital. Greg Price died from his injuries on December 12th, at 2:05pm.
